Time to Clean Interstate Drains

Editor, News-Register:

The West Virginia Division of Highways built brand new bridges and ramps, and now look: every drain is plugged with dirt, and grass is growing alongside the interstate.

With plugged drains you have ponding water, which causes hydroplaning and wrecks. All it would take is two nights a month, with a vac-truck, a dump truck and a few workers, and the DOH could clean all the ramps and bridges in and around Wheeling.

It’s a shame it’s come to this so soon after the work that was completed. All the DOH big-shots should be fired.
