Robert “Bob” Coffield Jr., 70, of Moundsville, died peacefully in his sleep, Friday, December 6, 2024 at home.
He was born June 6, 1954 in Glen Dale, WV, the son of Robert and Mary Updegraff Coffield.
Bob was a retired coalminer from the Shoemaker Mine; graduated from John Marshall High School in 1972; loved hunting, fishing, and camping.
He was preceded in death by his uncles\best friends, Bill and Tom Updegraff.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of 52 years, Doreen Sills Coffield; two daughters, Dawn (Jim Moore) Coffield of Florida, Emily (Jake) Phillips of Moundsville; four grandchildren, Desiree Peralta, Louie Peralta, Sophie Phillips, Isaac Phillips; one great-granddaughter, Avery Marsh; three sisters, Marge (Danny) Brown, Lottie (Jerry) Durbin, Cheryl (Bob) Francis; best friend, Skip (Cindy) Ingram; multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family would like to thank Sarah, Paula, Shenna, Lisa, Kacey, and Cindy for all their love and support.
