DOROTHY MOSES
Dorothy Elva Moses, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, at the age of 93, at Belmont Manor Nursing Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Born on July 14, 1931, in Barton, Ohio, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Arnold and Elva (Robson) Surratt.
Dorothy devoted her life to being a homemaker, where she found great joy and fulfillment in taking care of her family. She deeply cherished her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world and the light of her life.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold T. Moses; and her siblings, Erma Haught, Mary Andrews, Ruth Cenkus, and Roy Surratt.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Dorothy Jane (Rick) Link, Deborah Roxby (Donald Clark), Robert (Kim) Moses, and Michele (Michael) Stanley. She is also survived by her sisters, Martha Surratt, Madelyn Burton, Carolyn Mamula, and Maxine Price; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grand children.
In accordance with Dorothy’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. Dorothy’s private arrangements have been entrusted to Altmeyer Funeral Homes Wheeling Chapel.
