MARIAN THOMPSON
Thompson, Marian Anita Pultz, 89, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital
She was born December 21, 1934, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Laurence and Della Mann Pultz.
Marian retired as a blueprint files administrator after 10 years from ROHR Aircraft, where she was a dependable punctual worker. She was a Christian by faith.
She was strong willed and God fearing. She loved the color blue, playing cards, and driving. She was always willing to give and never asked for anything. She was carefree, loved family and enjoyed quality time with those she surrounded herself with.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Richard Sherman Thompson in 1992; two brothers, Pete Carney, Raymond Pultz; two sisters, Evelynn Sims, Eva Shelton; and a son-in-law, Randall Doll.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Doll; three sons, Randall L. Thompson, Richard G. (Jacqueline) Thompson, Russell Lee Thompson; two sisters-in-law, Charmaine Carney, Loretta Heddleson; six grandchildren, Ryan, Shawn, Breana, Malyssa, Brandt, Kiersten; and five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Meah, Maddox, Liam, Leonel.
Friends will be received on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 1-4 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311). Interment will be in Crestlawn Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
