Ohio County Grand Jury Returns 21 Indictments
WHEELING — An Ohio County Circuit Court grand jury returned indictments against 21 people for the January term, Ohio County Prosecutor Shawn Turak said in a Tuesday news release. The grand jury met Monday.
The following people have been charged:
– Dalton James Coursey, 29, of Mount Airy, Maryland, on two counts of felony breaking and entering and two counts of felonious destruction of property;
– Christopher Corey Heckathorn, 38, of Wheeling, on one felony count of breaking and entering and one count of felonious destruction of property;
– Douglas Grim, 43, of Martins Ferry, on one felony count of grand larceny and three counts of felonious destruction of property;
– Isaiah Daniel Barnes, 35, of West Liberty, on two felony counts of entering without breaking, one count of felonious destruction of property, one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: a narcotic, fentanyl and one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule IV controlled substance: a narcotic, xylazine;
– Joseph Earl Jones, 43, of Wheeling, on one felony count of abduction with intent to defile, one felony count of second degree sexual assault and one felony count of first degree robbery;
– Dartanyon Deshawn Bloodsaw, aka “Mississippi,” 49, of Martins Ferry, on one felony count of burglary, one felony count of second degree sexual assault and one felony count of first degree sexual abuse;
– Alasdair Ballard Hicks, 26, of Wheeling, on one felony count of possession of material visually portraying minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct;
– Rudolph Richard Galbreth Sr., 66, of Wheeling, with one felony count of domestic violence, third or subsequent offense;
– a double indictment of Jabre Quainele Alexander, 30, of Wheeling on one felony count of burglary and one felony count of conspiracy, and Brandy Lee Plunkett, 43, of Wheeling, on one felony count of burglary and one felony count of conspiracy;
– James Dempsey Short, 44, of Wheeling, on two felony counts of burglary;
– Barry Moore, 25, of Wheeling, on five felony counts of malicious assault;
– Melody Marie Martin, 44, of Wheeling, on one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: methamphetamine, one felony county of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: a narcotic, fentanyl, one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: a narcotic, cocaine, one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I controlled substance: a narcotic, heroin and one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule IV controlled substance: xylazine;
– Lawrence William Murray Jr., 51, of St. Clairsville on one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: methamphetamine;
– Brady Lee Chirik, 34, of Moundsville, on one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: a narcotic, fentanyl, one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: a narcotic, 4-ANPP, one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule IV controlled substance: xylazine and one felony count of failure to appear;
– a triple indictment of Alena Elizabeth Robson, 23, of Powhatan Point, on one felony count of uttering and one felony count of financial exploitation of an elderly person, Melissa Ann Welling, 39, of Wheeling, on 15 felony counts of uttering and one felony count of financial exploitation of an elderly person, and Jennifer Postlewait, 32, of Triadelphia of seven felony counts of uttering and one felony count of financial exploitation of an elderly person;
– Aaron P. Fisher, 37, of Steubenville, on one felony count of entering without breaking, five felony counts of forgery of a public record and one felony count of failure to appear; and
– Gerald Michael Conaway, 38, of Wheeling, on five felony counts of fraud in connection with an access device.
